Honoka Suzume
Honoka was at her favorite arcade as usual with her navi Nanami.EXE, and she was playing one of the classic games there. She was playing a Heartcatch Precure video game and was playing as Cure Moonlight. Pretty Cure just had to be her favorite game. And it wasn't a joke really. She loved any anime games. Black Butler games weren't released in arcades for obvious reasons. She was planning to go, but it was too addicting.
"I won." Honoka said, as the level was finished. "Nanami, how many wins and losts was it?"
Nanami.EXE
Nanami enjoyed being around her owner. Even though she was a bit mysterious and a bit cold sometimes, she loved her operator as a friend all the way. Since Nanami was created and she had many of the functions that Honoka had self-programmed. She programmed records into her PET so that she could keep score of anything that Honoka played.
"Um, six wins and I think about four or five losses." Nanami stated as she was displayng the records.

Tokoshie KotoneAs if Tokoshie wasn't getting enough attention with her green and brown wa loli kimono she had to smash the arcade machine several times with her fist until the contoller broke. "Argh! Stupid thing must be cursed!" She yelled getting even more attention. Bai.EXEBai was in her PET watching nervously as her owner destroyed the arcade game. She fiddled her hands together unsure of what to say or if she should even say anything. She thought she must or else Tokoshie could end up paying for the broken machine. "Eh... umm..." She muttered anxiously. "A-are you sure you're just not very good at this game?" Bai quietly stammered. She felt worse now as she anticipated Tokoshie's reaction and desperately wanted to leave. Tokoshie Kotone"It's not me! The things obviously cursed!" Tokoshie yelled unforgivingly at the timid net navi as she banged her fist on the table. Bai.EXE"Eiyaaa!!" Bai screamed putting her sleeves to her face to hide herself. She hated yelling as it made her very nervous. Tokoshie KotoneAt that Tokoshie calmed her fury and sighed. "Mmm... I need to blow off some steam with a good net battle," She murmured to herself bending her head and spine back to look around.

Honoka Suzume
Honoka was getting up from her game, as she was pocketed her yen into her Hummy theme wallet pouch that was based on a mascot in Suite Precure. She then placed into a plain black messenger bag with a crimson rose and purple dots splashed all over it. Placing Nanami in her side pouch that was on her right thigh she was about to leave the arcade when she saw a girl in a green and brown wa loli kimono who was looking around.
"Hmm..." Honoka said, as she was staying there. "I need to get home to make dinner... but I really want to work on getting my netbattles so I can enter in tournaments."

Tokoshie Kotone
Perhaps it was instinct or her spirtual powers, but Tokoshie instantly noticed someone looking at her. A girl who looked her age, taller than her, but not that tall. She had unusual bright pink hair and was wearing lolita fashion like her. Her eyes shifted to a PET tucked away in her pocket. The girl was about to leave, but had stopped, so Tokoshie figured it was worth a shot to ask her for a net battle. She got up and looked straight at the girl.
"I see you have a net navi," Tokoshie said clearly then tilted her head and looked at the net battling arenas in the back. There was one open. "Would you like to net battle with me?" She asked politely.

Honoka Suzume
With heavy chiding from her navi, Honoka was nodding, as she went over to the net battling arena. To save her cousin... to make her happy again... That was all Honoka could ever want. And if this was the starting battle to save her, then she would fight to the very end in order to get that money for that operation. Once her mind was set and with the support of Nanami, she felt like she could do anything. And it was the very drive that made her want to do whatever she felt like she needed to do in order to get things done.
"I'll net-battle with you." Honoka said, as she was getting out her pet, which was a bright pink and her symbol on the right corner of the PET. "I'm Honoka Suzume. What's your name?"

Tokoshie Kotone
"Thanks. I'm Tokoshie Kotone; I work as a miko at my uncle's temple. It's the only one in Dentech City, so I'm sure you've been there before," She said, but remained straight faced.
From the look in the girl or rather Honoka's eyes Tokoshie could tell she was the type who approached everything with a passion and purpose. That was something Tokoshie could only envy. Never had she felt that passion; never had she had that drive to do anything. Even her net navi, Bai.EXE had a drive; a goal that she pursued relentlessly. Though she had never said anymore than she had to find her old self or something like that. And Tokoshie never asked for anything more because she could tell it upset her as she would stop smiling when she talked about whatever it was that had happened to her.
Tokoshie picked up her white PET and walked towards the open netbattling arena. She pointed the PET to the plug in slot and shouted, "Bai.exe - Plug in!" A laser shot out and Bai was transported to the arena, however Bai remained invisible as she always did at the start of netbattles to confuse her opponent.

Honoka Suzume
Honoka had stepped onto the platform area where it was. She extended the cord from her PET and she was thinking, as she was going to plug in, that if she could win... Maybe... She silently apologized to Tokoshie in her mind. Of what she was going to do if she won against her. And that was the type of thing. And now, she was going to do whatever she could. The gothic lolita was determined to save her cousin. And this determination, she was going to jack into all of it, into this one battle...
"Nanami.EXE, jack in." Honoka said, as she plugged her navi in.
Nanami
Nanami had entered into the arena and was looking around. She was grabbing her weapon that was here and now she was relieved. She had made it here safely. She hoped that she could win. It would make her owner so happy. It was all she ever wanted. Nanami wanted to help. And now she knew where her heart was residing in. This was all not for themselves, maybe it was, but it was more for Honoka's ailing cousin.
"Before we start, my name is Nanami." Nanami formally introduced as she was standing, waiting for the starting of the battle.

Tokoshie Kotone
What determination this girl has, Tokoshie thought. She shifted her gaze to the arena where she saw Honoka's net navi standing there alone despite Tokoshie having plugged in first. This was normal. Bai was a ghost of sorts and ghosts can disappear in a flash. Tokoshie smirked slightly with confidence, though it was unnoticable. Regardless of Honoka's immense passion that wasn't something Tokoshie was going to lose for. She may not have a reason, but she wanted to win.
Bai.EXE
Bai was there and yet she wasn't. To the naked eye she wasn't there but her data was there and a navi with a good smell for data would spot her. But Bai could tell this navi wasn't programmed with such an advanced feature. In fact she looked like she was probably created by an amateur. Bai wasn't anything like that. Her creation as a navi with no net op and when she was repaired; both were highly proffesional operations. Bai remained invisible and decided to make herself seem more like a ghost. She had a blue flame appear floating in mid air. In actuality Bai was holding the flame in her hand, but Nanami couldn't see her hand, so it looked like it was just there.
"My my, what a polite introduction. I am Bai of the ghosts," She said clearly but there was nobody around to say it. The voice appeared to come from nothing.
The flame vanished into thin air. From behind Nanami she blew a creepy, cold breath down the navi's neck in order to freak her out.
"Kehehehe..." She giggled, but there was still no one there.

Nanami
"A ghost, eh? Kinda cool. You can disappear in and out and pull pranks on unsuspecting navis... I'll enjoy this challenge! Come on, Honoka, let's get this battle started!" Nanami said, pumped up.
Nanami wasn't scared, she rather took everything into her own pace. She didn't mind lots of things, but she was freaking out when it came to spiders. She hated them with a burning passion. However she wasn't going to let this ghost navi beat her. She just had to follow her owner's order.
Honoka Suzume
Honoka glanced softly at the screen below her, trying to get her emotions in order. The sadness... Rei had to get this eye surgery. There wasn't any other option but to net-battle. Net-battle desperately to save her... If it was anything that she put on her pirorities, it was family before fun. And Rei was her family. She loved her eight year old cousin to death. She was being repetitive, but her mind always came back to her.
"Alright..." Honoka said, looking at her opponent. "Since you offered it, you should go first."

Bai.exe
"Eh... not scared of ghosts are we? Surely you must be scared of something, right? Kehehehe..." From the shadows Bai finally appeared with her arm across her face and kimono sleeve covering her giggling mouth.
Bai was a bit angry that the navi wasn't phased in the slightest, but she wasn't going to give up her spooking yet. She always liked to get a good laugh before getting into a battle. It helped her concentrate odd as it is. She had a unique trick up her sleeve for those who weren't scared of ghosts; it was a power she had ever since her creation. She could release all sorts of viruses out of her sleeves at will.
"How about bats?" And with that Bai flew her arms open and bat-like viruses swarmed out of her long sleeves. "No? Then how about spiders? No one likes those..." And spider-based viruses crawled out her sleeves. Immediately Bai noticed a reaction, "Kehehehe..."
Tokoshie Kotone
Tokoshie wanted to tell Bai to stop playing around, but decided to shut up about it. Bai probably wouldn't netbattle if she didn't get atleast one scream out of the navi. Tokoshie sort of felt bad for poor Nanami having to endure Bai's childish pranks. But she had endured far worse with her navi after being with her for so long. And so she said nothing and just waited with a few battlechips in hand for Bai to be satisfied.

Honoka Suzume
Oh no, Nanami absolutely despises spiders! She has to fight... She can't be afraid... Honoka thought, as she was pulling out a BambSword.
Nanami never liked spiders. At all. One incident and that was that. She told of her to never speak of it again... But wait. She soon was inquiring why did she know of such a thing? Could this Bai navi read Nanami's mind? That couldn't be possible. Or maybe it was just a random guess. It could have been a wild card guess. But the only thing to do is to get Nanami to overcome her fear in this match.
"BambSword! Slot in!" Honoka said, as she slipped the chip.
Nanami.EXE
Nanami's right hand became a sword as she began to charge at the spiders. She was afraid yes... But she couldn't let Bai beat her! She knew that tricks alone couldn't help her this time around. With the connection of her operator, Nanami had to do whatever she could to not scream. Even though they looked large... and hairy... and those eyes...
"Enough playing around!" Nanami exclaimed, slashing into the bugs. "We're going to fight either way... With or without scaring me! I'm not going to surrender just because of some stupid insect!"

Bai.EXE
Bai was smart, yes, but she couldn't read minds. It was just as a ghost she knew the things that often scared navis and people alike. She could just see it in their eyes. Everyone was scared of something and the net navi was no exception. Bai was pleased, very pleased; she got what she wanted. A excellent reaction to spiders; the kind she got from those with much pride where they don't want to look scared or scream, but you could see it in there eyes. Nanami was terrified. In fact it was so funny Bai was covering her whole face with both her kimono sleeves and her hands over her mouth trying hard not to laugh. But she couldn't resist.
"Kehehehehehe!" She laughed so loud that her eyes watered with tears of laughter. "You take everything so seriously! It's so funny! Kehehehe!" Bai took a few breathes to calm down. "Okay... I got a good laugh, now I'm ready. So come at me..." She smirked with arrogance.

Nanami.EXE
Now the navi was asking for it. After Honoka put in the Blossom Shower battlechip, pink energies developed in her hands. The cherry blossom petals peeled off from the energy ball and she was ready to fight back. With a flick of her finger, the petals swarmed over to her and they swirled around and above her. Nanami wasn't sure if it was going to fully work, but as the petals were slowly incisioning inside to attack Bai but Nanami was tense, waiting for what was going to happened. The lolita navi was certain that she had a few tricks up her sleeves. Ghost or not, there has to be something about her... Like she was scared of spiders, Bai had to be afraid of something. If she was going to play dirty then she had to use the same tactics to corner her.
"Let's see..." Nanami said, muttering to herself. "She's a ghost navi and she has to have some sort of weakness!"

Tokoshie Kotone
Looking at the arena with her eyes squished thin analyzing everything her opponent was doing. She spotted the net op slip in a chip and Tokoshie did the same, but hide her PET in her long sleeves. She quietly inserted an IceSwrd battlechip and watched closely. She wasn't that worried as Bai was a ghost and could easily pass through objects. Bai was practically intangable.
She muttered a quiet, "Hmph..."
Bai.EXE
Bai looked at the swarm of petals wondering what the navi was doing. She was confident whatever it was she could avoid it. After all Bai was a ghost and ghosts are transparent in the sense that nothing and no one can touch them. With the IceSwrd Tokoshie had given her silently conceiled with her sleeve she watched and waited.
"My, my... how pretty," Bai smiled as the petals swarmed down on her and passed right through her body. Bai was a ghost and ghosts are untouchable. "Kehehehe... do you forget? I am a ghost. It will take more than that..."

Nanami.EXE
Nanami gritted her teeth. She was positive that being a ghost gave her an advantage. For now, she could only block until Bai's weakness was clear as day. She summoned her scythe and was preparing herself for the worse. She had to sense where her opponent was going to attack next. She had to remind herself that she was a ghost. That means physical things couldn't hurt her... then what did? She couldn't be invincible... And that was the only certain thing that Nanami knew of. Narrowing her eyes, she was slient, thinking and waiting for her opponent to move.
